We’re Coburg locals who want to report on, investigate into and generally meddle in Coburg’s business.
If you’re a local and you have something you’d like to write on, a short piece of writing you want people to read, a photo or artwork, or anything else you’d like to see in black and white, please email us.
Send us any feedback and criticisms (please, yes!)email: firstname.lastname@example.org
For any anonymous messages you’d like to send (for example: overheards, criticism or scoops) please use: https://www.suggestionox.com/r/9iddQ6
If you would like to have a free copy of the Meddler delivered to your home every month and you’re a local (living in the Moreland area, Preston, Thornbury or Northcote), please give us your address by using this form: https://forms.gle/g4qZvzm9EAyxmojN6 — we won’t send you anything else and we won’t share any of your information!
The Coburg Meddler is currently seeking local contributions for our ‘Artist of the Month’ and ‘Short Story of the Month’ (fiction/non-fiction) segments in our bi-monthly newspaper. If we use your work we will give you $50. It doesn’t have to be original (but it will be published in hard-copy and on our website). Details: the work will be published in black and white, and the maximum size we can fit is A4. We can include or exclude any details you want.
NB we are a local self-funded, not-for-profit publication.
The Coburg Meddler was written and developed on Wurundjeri Land of the Kulin Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded. If possible, people should contribute to the Pay the Rent campaign. This initiative funds groups that advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders: https://www.invasionday.org/pay-the-rent-campaigns
